1.) Research All Proposed Expenditures

I commit to research all significant expenditures across other similar-sized cities to ensure St. George is getting the best deal possible for services.

Receipts for all payments will be reviewed monthly to ensure consistency and accuracy.

2.) Merit-Based Pay

As the ultimate employees in service of the People, elected officials and employees should be paid based on a reasonable, data-driven, merit-based system.

I will research and propose lowering salaries during my first term in accordance with the Will of the People of St. George.

3.) Follow the Money

I will demand that all expenditures must have a tangible, verifiable return on investment for the people of St. George that they can review prior to votes.

I will vet all bids for all expenditures for conflicts of interest - both among the service provider AND those in government in order to avoid any appearance of favoritism.

Government efficiency is not controversial - it is apolitical. It is an accounting of all tax dollars being appropriated that provides the maximum benefit for the people.
