Our Purpose and Our Opportunity

1.) Formation

We've been told that a new school system could be several years away. Yet the City of Central formed their school district in just 2 years.

I will firmly advocate and push forward the formation of the St. George School District as swiftly and judiciously as possible.

2.) Education Re-Imagined

If we truly want the best education for our children in St. George, we must be willing to embrace best practices and innovative new educational techniques and curricula within our school system.

I endorse implementing a return to classical education elements, coupled with a distinct emphasis on:

Practical life skills
Play-To-Learn
Skills and Trade Vocations
Apprenticeship

3.) Collaboration

I will work with our State Representatives to address the specific needs of the St. George School District during and after formation, as well as innovate on parent choice options for the future.

It is my goal that all St. George citizens will have the ultimate freedom to choose how they decide to educate their children with minimum bureaucracy and government interference.

Government efficiency is not controversial - it is apolitical. It is an accounting of all tax dollars being appropriated that provides the maximum benefit for the people.
